Reunion 2009—Need pictures

GOOD TIMES REMEMBERED as 28 brothers and wives gathered at the 2nd official “Ol’ Farts” Reunion in Natchitoches October 16-18. Ol’ Farts traveled from far and wide for the two day “walk down memory lane.” While Dick Conciloi flew in from Florida, John Sanders and his KE son, Chris, drove up with Trippy Weaver from Florida. Randal endured the company of Gary Foster, Randy Redd and RJ during their trip in from Houston area. Attending their first Ol’ Farts Reunion was George Eaton, Deacon Lewis, Winston Bolinger, John Sanders and Foster Campbell. Friday night everyone gathered for eats and drinks at Antoon's. Saturday morning during the informal meeting at the KE house we had a roll call (for the members that we had information on) which covered every Ol' Fart from 1966 to 1970. Then John Manno gave us a very informative update on the House fund. Later after a ceremony to honor and remember the Ol’ Farts that had passed away the Chapter Celestial plaque of the Ol' Farts was presented. This plaque will be hung in the KE house. Many kind words and stories about our missing brothers ensued. Afterwards, after enjoying a BBQ chicken dinner prepared by the pledges at the house, we celebrated with a birthday cake honoring all of the members who had attained the age of 60. Saturday afternoon and evening was spent at Susan Cloutier’s Starlight B&B. We reminisced about old times, what’s going on now and about Ol’ Farts topics (grandkids and health problems) as we enjoyed the famous Grayson’s BBQ. The final morning Susan Cloutier hosted a fantastic breakfast prior to everyone returning home. |
